Today was the first day of lifeguarding class for two of my friends, one of which is assisted by a psychiatric service dog who is still in training (New Mexico state laws has full public access protections for service dogs in training). I sat poolside with Merlin and her dog, Kodi, who had never been to a pool before, and both of them did fantastic!
